G-Factory (K — 4th Grade)
“Our children never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, their faith grew stronger, and in this they brought glory to God. They were absolutely convinced that God was able to do anything He promised, and because of their faith, God declared our children to be righteous.”
Romans 4:20-22
In G-Factory, we want our kids to move into Club 56 living according to the Gospel. Our children are connecting with the Bible story and are actively involved with their learning. In our elementary ministry we encourage children to use the Bible as their tool and guide.
Children learn in many different ways. In G-Factory, we intend to make learning the Bible fun, interactive and most importantly we want what they learn to stick! Each Sunday, your child will experience a new learning environment. Each of these environments takes a different approach to our Bible Story. We study the same topic or character for six weeks. Our course of study is designed so that children will have experienced the entire Bible throughout their six years in G-Factory.
Where do I go? What do I do?
At 4th Avenue, we value the time that families spend in worship together. All of our families begin worship in the 9:30 a.m. assembly in the main auditorium. After a time of welcome, praise & worship, prayer, and our weekly offering, children are dismissed to attend a worship time specifically designed to appeal to them. There are energetic songs, videos, and age-appropriate activities that target your little one’s interests and attention.
Our G-Factory worship and classrooms are located on the lower level. Children experience their worship time first and move directly from worship into grade level groups to deepen their understanding of our current Bible topic or character. Our programming lasts until the end of adult Connection Group time.
The themed rooms children visit while joining us in G-Factory are:
Finding Out Your True History (Museum Room)
Children have an innate sense of the presence of God. In the Museum Room, we teach them an approach to help them explore their faith through story, and enhance their spiritual experience though wonder and play. Come join us!
Matters of Faith (Science Room)
See how science fits together with and confirms God’s Word through hands-on experiments and interactive demonstrations.
Wheel of Verses (Game Room)
Come on down to the game room! Spin the wheel to test your knowledge of all the Bible stories that you have learned and characters that you have met.
Loaves and Fishes Service Café
Put on your apron and get ready to serve! Learn about our missionaries and all of the ways that you can make an impact in our community.
Let There Be Light…Camera, Action! (Theater Room)
In this room our 3rd – 4th graders become the characters they are studying and act out a play. Our K – 2nd graders get to sing songs and praises and then see a puppet show about our current Bible story.
How Great Thou Art Studio!
This art studio is where our children come and create to express their thoughts about the Bible story through drawing, painting, sculpture and other projects.
Security Information
The security of your children is of utmost importance to all our volunteers. You will check in your child at kiosks located around the building. The kiosk will provide a nametag for your child along with any allergy information, if applicable. You will receive a Parent Receipt that is coded to match your child’s nametag. You will show the receipt in order to pick up your child. All of our volunteers undergo a background check before serving.
